Volvo EX90
Volvo's flagship electric SUV on the SPA2 platform, and the first Volvo built around a centralised computing architecture rather than a scatter of separate modules — one Nvidia-based core running the driver assistance and much of the vehicle control, with a lidar unit above the windscreen. That changes what a fault means: a great deal of it is software delivered over the air, and an older generic scan tool may not address the central computer at all. It is an 800-volt-class high-voltage system with a 111 kWh pack, so the isolation procedure is not a 400-volt hybrid's.
