P0302: Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
Do not keep driving
Stop driving if the warning light is flashing. Otherwise keep journeys short until the misfire is found — running on a down cylinder loads the remaining ones and dumps unburnt fuel into the exhaust.
What this code means
Combustion is failing in cylinder 2. Diagnosis follows the same path as any single-cylinder misfire: confirm the cylinder really is the weak one, then move the coil and injector to a neighbouring cylinder and see whether the code moves with them. Only when the fault stays put after swapping ignition and fuel parts does attention turn to compression and valve sealing.
