P0371: Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

Expect reduced performance. Ask for the sensor's shielded cable and ground to be inspected, since interference is a more common cause here than sensor failure.
What this code means
More pulses arrived per revolution than the module expected. Extra pulses are almost always electrical noise rather than a real signal — a degraded cable screen picking up interference from the ignition system, or a poor sensor ground letting the reference float. Inspect the shielding and grounds before condemning the sensor.
