What this code means
The battery temperature sensor is reading implausibly. Charging voltage is deliberately varied with battery temperature — a cold battery needs a higher charging voltage than a hot one, and getting that backwards either undercharges the battery in winter or cooks it in summer.
So an incorrect temperature reading does not produce an immediate symptom; it shortens battery life quietly over months. Comparing the reported battery temperature against ambient after an overnight stand is the simplest check, and they should agree closely.
