P0A06: Motor Electronics Coolant Pump A Control Circuit Low
What to do
The car will become noticeably slow, and that restriction is protecting expensive electronics rather than being a fault in itself. Drive gently and briefly, and avoid hills and heavy loads until it is repaired.
What this code means
The coolant pump control circuit reads below its valid range, normally a short to ground. The module shuts its output driver down rather than continue feeding a short, so the pump stops and the power electronics lose their cooling.
With no circulation the module has no choice but to restrict power heavily, and it will do so quickly — the thermal mass of an inverter is small and its temperature rises fast under load.
