The inverter section serving the generator is not performing as commanded.
The P0A78 checklist applies unchanged — cooling, supply, software, campaigns, then hardware. The generator's job points the consequences the familiar way: charging held back and engine starting affected, with the engine running more to compensate. And because this section works hardest when charging demand is constant, the P0A3E note applies here too — a deteriorating battery that demands endless charge is a root cause that a new inverter would not fix.
