P0DA6: Drive Motor B Inverter Voltage Sensor A Circuit High
Do not keep driving
The car may drive on one axle only, with reduced power and no all-wheel drive. That is mild enough to be tempting to ignore, but it is a high-voltage fault and needs a properly equipped shop.
What this code means
The circuit for the second drive motor's inverter voltage sensor is faulty.
This is the Drive Motor B counterpart of the sibling family at P0D2D, and the argument there applies unchanged: the inverter measures the voltage that actually reaches it, which is a different measurement from the pack measuring what it sends.
What the B designator tells you is that this car has two drive motors — almost always one per axle, which is how most all-wheel-drive electric cars are built. So a fault confined to B is a fault on one axle, and the car will usually still drive on the other one, with reduced power and no all-wheel drive. That is worth knowing because the symptom is mild enough to be lived with and the underlying fault is not.
The correlation code at P0DA9 is what makes this measurement useful, comparing it against the pack's own — agreement means the high-voltage path to that inverter is sound, disagreement means it is not.
