What to do
The hybrid system will not work properly and the engine may run constantly. This is usually a fuse, relay, earth or connector rather than the inverter — worth asking that the twelve-volt supply be checked before any large part is quoted.
What this code means
The generator inverter's control power supply circuit is faulty.
This is the low-voltage supply that lets the generator's inverter work, and confusing it with the high-voltage side is the trap.
An inverter handles hundreds of volts, but the electronics that decide what it does run on twelve — the processor, the gate drivers that switch the power transistors, the sensor references. That control supply is what this code names.
So the whole assembly can be perfectly healthy on the side that matters and simply not be awake. The high-voltage path is intact, the machine is fine, and nothing works, because the part that commands the switching has no power.
The practical value is that this is the cheap end of an expensive assembly. A fuse, a relay, a connector or an earth — all ordinary twelve-volt faults, all findable with an ordinary meter — sitting in front of a component that costs thousands. It is worth eliminating before anybody quotes for an inverter.
