P0E94: Drive Motor B Inverter Voltage Sensor B Circuit High

The car may refuse to move, or on a two-motor car may drive on one axle with reduced power. The car is declining to run a motor whose supply voltage it cannot verify, which is deliberate — it is not a fault to be cleared and driven through.
What this code means
The circuit for the second voltage sensor on drive motor B's inverter is faulty.
A second voltage sensor on an inverter is not a spare, and the distinction decides what a fault here costs.
The inverter's first voltage sensor is at P0D2D (motor A) and P0DA3 (motor B), and it measures the direct-current supply arriving from the pack. This one is a second, independent measurement of the same thing — and the reason for it is the same reason the charger's output is measured twice at P0D4C: so that no single sensor failure can let the inverter operate on a number nobody has checked.
An inverter that misjudges its supply voltage sets its switching timings wrongly, and the consequences run from wasted energy through overheating to destroying the switching devices. Two sensors mean the module can detect a lie rather than act on it.
Which is why losing one usually stops the motor rather than degrading it. The car does not fall back to the surviving sensor — it declines to run a machine whose supply it can no longer verify. On a two-motor car that means one axle, and the vehicle will often still drive, which makes the fault easy to postpone and no less real.
