What to do
Expect worse economy. Ask for the exhaust on this side of the engine to be checked for leaks ahead of the sensor before a sensor is fitted — a leak is a physical thing in one place, and a fault confined to one bank points at that side's joints and flexible sections.
What this code means
The sample error described at P2414, on the second bank's upstream sensor. The physical causes are unchanged and the exhaust leak remains the leading one.
The bank split is useful here for a specific reason: an exhaust leak is a local, physical thing. It is on one side of the engine, at one joint, and it does not migrate. So a sample error confined to one bank is genuinely a location, and the manifold-to-downpipe joint on that side is the first place to look — particularly on an engine where that joint is known to crack or where a flexible section has aged.
