U3501: Control Module Input Power A Circuit Low
What to do
Have the battery and its connections tested before anything else is touched — including the battery terminals themselves, cleaned and retightened.
That sounds too simple for a code like this, and it is still the right first step: a battery weak enough to sag while cranking, or a terminal corroded under a clamp that looks perfectly tight, produces this entire family of faults exactly. It is the cheapest thing to rule out and the most common cause by a distance.
If the car has a page of unrelated warning lights, expect most of them to clear when this is fixed. A module with a poor supply reports nonsense about everything it watches, so one bad connection can light up half the dashboard.
Mention two things: whether the car has had a flat battery or a jump start recently, and whether any bodywork or accessory fitting has been done. A body shop that bolts an earth strap onto fresh paint makes a connection that looks perfect and conducts badly — and that is a classic cause.

U35xx continues the supply story U30xx opens, and adds the detail that makes it diagnosable.
Where U3006 says a feed is open, this range says how it is wrong — out of range, low, high, or intermittent. That distinction is the diagnosis, because each points somewhere different:
- Low is resistance in the supply path: a corroded fuse holder, a tired connector, a splice gone high-resistance. The commonest by a wide margin.
- High points at the charging system rather than the wiring, and matters more than it sounds — overvoltage damages electronics across the whole car, not just this module.
- Range/performance means the voltage is present but behaves implausibly: not tracking the rest of the system, or not moving when it should.
- Intermittent is a connection rather than a component. A part that has failed stays failed; a supply that comes and goes with vibration, temperature or road surface is a joint.
Intermittent is the one people chase for weeks. The productive test is to reproduce it — wiggle the harness and flex the connector with the circuit live and being watched — rather than to measure a circuit that is behaving itself at the moment of testing.
Low is the resistance case. Voltage is arriving but arriving weakened, which means something in the path between the battery and this module is dropping it — a fuse holder gone green, a connector pin backed out, a splice corroded inside its tape. The module is fine; the road to it is not.
