Tata's 2.0 diesel — the Kryotec — in the Harrier and Safari.
It is a Fiat Multijet derivative built under licence, and the catalogue's own rows say so. That is the useful thing about it: the 2.0 Multijet is one of the most widely fitted diesels in Europe, and its material, its failure patterns and much of its parts logic apply directly where searching Kryotec returns almost nothing.
fiat-multijet and psa-dw10's neighbours in this catalogue are the right reading. The recurring items are the modern-diesel set: an EGR valve that carbons shut, injector seals, and a particulate filter that short urban journeys will block.
A rising oil level on the dipstick is fuel dilution from failed regenerations, not a servicing error, and on a heavy vehicle used in traffic it is the commonest reason one is brought in.
