Tata's multi-point-injected petrol fours — 1,172 cc and 1,368 cc — in the Indica Vista and the Indigo Manza.

It is the petrol family that ran the Indica line before Revotron, and almost nothing is filed under the name. Wikipedia's Indica specification table is the fullest published account: the 1.2 makes 65 PS at 5,500 rpm and 96 Nm at 3,000, the 1.4 90 PS at 6,000 and 116 Nm at 4,750, both multi-point injected and neither turbocharged.

⚑ Do not read a lineage into the name. One Wikipedia sentence links Safire to Fiat's FIRE family and the same article's own table calls it simply Tata's MPFI petrol engine; no second source carries either claim, and the displacements match neither Fiat's 1,242 cc 1.2 nor Tata's own 1,405 cc 475. So diagnose it as what it is — a naturally aspirated, port-injected four with a timing belt, a distributorless coil pack and a narrow-band oxygen sensor — rather than by borrowing another family's material.

What actually brings one in is fuelling and ignition, in that order. The 1.2's fuel consumption was criticised from new, so "it has always been thirsty" is not evidence that nothing is wrong; compare against the other three cylinders rather than against the brochure. Idle instability on a warm engine is most often the throttle body or the idle air control passage carbonned up, and a misfire under load with no stored circuit fault is usually the coil pack rather than the plug it fires.
