Acura RLX
Acura's flagship saloon under three names — Legend, then RL, then RLX — and one continuous car in Japan, where it stayed the Honda Legend throughout. The RL of 2005-2012 introduced SH-AWD, a rear differential that actively over-drives the outside wheel, and its clutch packs and control unit are the fault family that defines the car; the RLX Sport Hybrid replaced that mechanism entirely with two rear electric motors doing the same job, which is a completely different diagnosis on a system with the same name. Establish which before touching a torque-vectoring complaint.

The first RL, a rebadged Honda Legend with the C35A V6 and front-wheel drive. Straightforward beside what followed.
