Chevrolet Colorado
The mid-size pickup, and the same vehicle as the GMC Canyon — search both. The first generation's 3.5 and 3.7 straight-fives are unusual engines with a documented cylinder-head cracking history between the valve seats, which produces coolant loss and misfire codes on an otherwise healthy engine. The second generation's 2.8 Duramax diesel brings a particulate filter and a urea system to a class that mostly did without, so its after-treatment codes are its own rather than shared with the petrols.
