Ford GT
The mid-engined supercar, built in two short runs three decades after the GT40 it refers to, and the two are entirely different cars. The 2004-2006 car is aluminium with a supercharged 5.4 V8 closely related to the modular engines in the trucks of the period. The 2016-2022 car is carbon fibre with a 3.5 EcoBoost V6 — the same architecture as the F-150's, which surprises people and is the single most useful fact about it, because engine material from that far more common vehicle genuinely applies. Both were built in small numbers and sold with restrictions on resale, so most are low-mileage and their faults tend to be of storage rather than of use.
