Holden Monaro
The two-door coupé developed from the VT Commodore, and the car that reintroduced the nameplate in 2001 — exported as the Pontiac GTO and the Vauxhall Monaro, which are the same vehicle and the better-documented names in most markets. Mechanically it is a Commodore: the LS1 and later LS2 V8, the same gearboxes and the same rear end, so Commodore and Corvette information both apply. What is worth knowing is that the export cars differ in details that matter to a repair — fuel tank and exhaust routing were changed for North America, and the GTO's own bulletins do not always describe the Australian car. Check which market the vehicle was built for before ordering parts.
