Isuzu VehiCROSS
The three-door SUV with the ceramic-coated exhaust and the spare wheel on the tailgate, built in tiny numbers on a shortened Trooper platform — so it is a Trooper mechanically, sharing its 6VD1 and 6VE1 V6s and its transfer case, and Trooper information applies to the running gear. What does not transfer is the body: the panels were made on low-volume ceramic dies and almost none are still available, which makes accident damage a far bigger decision on this car than on the Trooper it is built from. The BorgWarner Torque On Demand system reads twelve wheel-speed and driveline sensors, so a four-wheel-drive fault here is usually a sensor or a wiring fault rather than a mechanical one.
