Chinese maker of cars, pickups and light trucks, assembled locally in Iran, Brazil and Mexico among others. Its older petrol engines are Mitsubishi 4G-family designs built under licence, so Mitsubishi documentation reaches them where JAC's own is thin or untranslated — a cross-reference that stops applying on the newer turbocharged units, which are JAC's own.
