The saloon that established the marque, and a 400-volt car — which matters because the crossovers that followed are not, and assuming one procedure covers the range is the mistake this model exists to prevent. Its assistance stack was the first to carry XPeng's own software rather than a supplier's, and it is updated over the air frequently enough that establishing the software version is part of any assistance-related diagnosis: a symptom resolved in a later release is not a sensor fault. The rear motor is a permanent-magnet unit and the front, on dual-motor cars, an induction one, so the two axles report different efficiency and thermal behaviour by design rather than by fault.
