Mercedes-Benz CLS
The four-door coupé, and mechanically an E-Class of the same year — W211 running gear under the W219, W212 under the C218 — so E-Class information is the correct information for nearly all of it. Two things are genuinely its own and both generate faults. It is an Airmatic car by default, so ride-height, compressor-runtime and level-sensor codes are among the commonest reasons one appears, and a leaking strut works the compressor to death rather than announcing itself. And the frameless doors run their glass on drop-and-lift regulators with their own position learning, which is why a window fault here often needs a normalisation procedure rather than a part. On the diesels the OM642's oil cooler seals and swirl-flap linkage are the recurring items.
