Tata Nexon
The best-selling model in the range and the one sold with the widest spread of powertrains: a 1.2 Revotron turbo petrol, a 1.5 Revotorq diesel, and a battery electric that is among the highest-volume electric cars in its market. The electric shares the body and almost nothing else — no fuel system, no emissions monitors, no catalyst — so establishing which one a car is decides whether most of the generic corpus applies at all. Revotron and Revotorq are Tata's own engine families rather than licensed designs.

- 1.2 turbo CNG — REVOTRON · CNG bi-fuel · 74 kW (99 hp) · 170 Nm (125 lb-ft) · iCNG, and the only turbocharged bi-fuel in this catalogue. The derate is power alone — 118 hp becomes 99 at 5,000 while the torque stays at 170 Nm, arriving at 2,000 instead — so a gas-mode complaint of lost pull is not what this car does.
