Cause
Open circuit in actuator wiring
A break between a module and a motor or solenoid it drives. Actuators sit at the moving end of a harness far more often than sensors do — throttle bodies, turbocharger actuators, gear selectors — so flexing and heat damage are the usual causes and the break is rarely at either connector.
Typically specialist work. Needs equipment or training most home workshops do not have.
