Worn throttle position sensor track
A wear mark on the resistive track at the pedal position the car spends most of its life at. The fault appears at one throttle opening and nowhere else — a flat spot at cruise, clean at idle and full throttle — which is what distinguishes wear from a sensor that has simply failed.
Typically a moderate job.
