P0220: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit
Do not keep driving
Expect reduced power or a limp mode. This is a redundancy failure in a safety-related system, so it warrants prompt attention rather than being lived with.
What this code means
A circuit fault in the second throttle or pedal position sensor. Drive-by-wire systems deliberately carry two or three position sensors that report the same physical movement using different voltage slopes — so that no single failure can convince the module the driver is asking for power they are not. Losing sensor B means losing that redundancy, and most strategies respond by refusing to deliver full power at all.
