P0583: Cruise Control Vacuum Control Circuit Low

Driveable; cruise control will not work.
What this code means
The cruise control vacuum solenoid circuit is reading low — a short to ground or a winding that has failed short. Isolating the solenoid and re-measuring establishes which side of the connector the fault lies on, which is the whole of the diagnosis on a circuit this simple.
