What this code means
The control circuit for the battery's air flow valve has failed open.
The valve is a flap in the cooling ducting — directing air through or around the pack, or switching between intake sources, depending on the design. Its job is routing rather than moving: the fans push, this decides where. A valve the module cannot command leaves the flap wherever it last was, which ranges from harmless (stuck in the normal running position) to a starved pack (stuck in bypass) — the companion airflow measurement at P0AD4 says which.
