P0B27: Hybrid/EV Battery B Voltage
What to do
As P0B23 — establish which battery this is before anything else. If codes for more than one battery are stored together, say so: that pattern usually points at something they share rather than at two failing batteries.
What this code means
The voltage of battery B is wrong.
Everything at P0B23 applies, including the point that matters most: the letter is a manufacturer's designation, and finding out which physical battery B names on this vehicle is the first step, not a detail. On many designs B is the auxiliary or low-voltage battery rather than the traction pack, which changes the entire character of the repair.
One thing a B code adds is a comparison. If A and B are both flagged, whatever they share is a better suspect than either battery — the module reading them, its supply, or its earth. If only B is flagged, the fault is where B differs from A.

Information, not instruction
CarGeek is a reference, not a service manual. Its pages are written from public sources and from what other people have found, never from a manufacturer's own service information, so they can be wrong or incomplete for your particular vehicle. Some of what they describe carries real risk: high voltage, fuel under pressure, stored energy, hot and moving parts.
Have anything you intend to act on checked by a trained person against the manufacturer's own procedure for your vehicle. Nothing here replaces that procedure.

Nothing posted about this yet. Whatever you found is worth writing down — even a dead end saves someone the same afternoon.
What makes one worth reading:
- The car — make, model, year and engine. The same fault behaves differently on each.
- What you measured, not only what you replaced.
- What actually fixed it — or that nothing did, which is worth knowing too.
