What this code means

The sixth of the traction battery's temperature sensors has a circuit fault.

Sensors A to E are already written, ending at P0BC2, and the family's argument lives there: a battery does not have a temperature, so it is measured in several places, and a bad reading does not merely misinform — it changes what the car will let the battery do, because temperature sets charging rate, available power and whether rapid charging is permitted at all.

What a sixth sensor adds is worth one line: the correlation checks at P0C6E–P0C72 compare each sensor against its neighbour, and that chain is only as long as the number of sensors. Sensor F is the last link in it, so losing it also loses the E/F comparison — which is why a single sensor fault here often arrives with a correlation code beside it rather than alone.
