Battery temperature sensor P has a circuit fault.
The family's argument is at P0BC2: a battery does not have a temperature, so it is measured in many places, and a faulty reading changes what the car permits rather than merely misinforming it.
P is the sixteenth and last of the pack's temperature sensors. Nothing about the letter changes the diagnosis; what it marks is the end of the family. The two arguments that run through all of them are worth restating once here: a bad reading does not merely misinform, it changes what the car will let the battery do — temperature governs charging rate, available power and whether rapid charging is offered at all — and from sensor I onward there is no neighbour comparison, so drift goes unnoticed for longer.
