P0D06: Control Pilot Charging Ventilation Switch Stuck On
What to do
If the car refuses to charge everywhere, this is a strong candidate and it is the car rather than the network. The vehicle is permanently asking for ventilated charging, which ordinary chargers must decline. Mention that it fails identically at every charge point — that pattern is the diagnosis.
What this code means
The ventilation switch is stuck in its on state.
This is the direction that stops the car charging, and it does it in a way that looks like the charge point's fault. With the switch held on, the vehicle presents the ventilation required state permanently — and a charge point that cannot provide ventilation is required to refuse. So the car asks for something no ordinary charger can grant, and every attempt fails politely with nothing obviously wrong at either end.
The tell is that it fails everywhere and identically, which is the pilot family's signature at P0CF3: a car that cannot charge at any charge point has a fault in the car, however much it reads like an unreliable network. Family argument at P0D00.
