Expect the P2070-style flat spot while this is stored, because the module parks the valve rather than guess. Wiring and connector first, sensor second, valve mechanics only if the stuck codes join in.
What this code means
The sensor reporting the tuning valve's position has failed its circuit checks — the witness for the P2070 family, and the same relationship the corpus draws everywhere between a mechanism and the sensor watching it: this family says the reporting failed, P2070/P2071 say the valve itself stopped moving.
Without position feedback the module runs the manifold blind — typically parking the valve in the safe state and accepting the powerband cost. The wiring on the manifold's flank lives with engine heat and vibration; it fails more often than the sensor.
