Say where the power is missing — weak low down or breathless up top — because that names the stuck position and shortens the diagnosis. The fix is usually cleaning or an actuator, not a manifold; a quote for the latter deserves the question of whether the valve was freed and retested first.
What this code means
The intake manifold tuning valve is stuck in its open position — and what this valve does is the page's first job, because it is routinely confused with the runner flaps at P2004.
A manifold's shape is a compromise, and the tuning valve un-compromises it. Long, narrow intake paths build torque at low engine speed; short, wide ones feed power at high speed. A tuned manifold gets both by carrying two paths and a valve that switches between them at a threshold — so the engine breathes through plumbing that changes shape as it revs. The runner flaps of P2004–P2007 are a different device: per-cylinder plates shaping swirl for emissions, where this is one valve choosing the manifold's length for torque.
Stuck is therefore a split symptom, and which half is missing names the stuck position. Stuck in the long-path state: normal pulling from low revs, breathless and flat at the top. Stuck short: lively high up, hollow and weak low down, needing a gear lower than it used to on hills. Nothing misfires, nothing shakes — a chunk of the powerband is simply absent, which drivers describe as the car "losing its go" without being able to say where.
The causes are the moving-part usuals: carbon building on the valve and its shaft until it seizes, a vacuum actuator's diaphragm splitting, a linkage clip dropping off. The position sensor family at P2075 is how the module caught it.
