P2148: Fuel Injector Group A Supply Voltage Circuit High
Do not keep driving
Expect a misfire on part of the engine. Ask for the injector windings in the group to be measured — an injector that has gone open-circuit can produce this code without anything being wrong with the supply itself.
What this code means
The group A injector supply reads above what it should be, or the module cannot pull it down when it expects to. An open circuit in the return path produces this as readily as a genuine overvoltage, because the module monitors the rail rather than merely driving it.
An injector whose winding has gone open-circuit removes its own load from the group, which can leave the rail sitting higher than expected — so this code can be produced by a failed injector rather than by a supply problem at all.
