Fuel Injector Control Module
A dedicated driver stage generating the high voltages and currents that piezo and high-voltage solenoid injectors need, which a general-purpose module cannot supply. Because every injector depends on it, its failure presents as a running problem rather than an electronic one — and several injector faults appearing at once point at this shared driver rather than at several failed injectors, which is a useful discrimination given what injectors cost.
