P2308: Ignition Coil C Secondary Circuit
Do not keep driving
Stop if the engine light is flashing. Ask for the plug well to be checked for oil or water and for the plug's age before a coil is fitted — both make a healthy coil fail this test, and both are cheaper to put right.
What this code means
A fault on the high-voltage output side of coil C. The spark plug argument is at P2302; the contaminated plug well at P2306 belongs here even more strongly, because oil or water in the well gives the spark an easier path to earth than the plug gap — which is precisely a secondary-circuit failure.
