Wat te doen
Not dramatic, but not cosmetic: this sensor is part of what keeps the most expensive component on the car alive. Wiring first; the sensor lives inside the pack and is the qualified-workshop conclusion, not the first guess.
Wat deze code betekent
A temperature sensor inside the battery pack has failed its circuit checks.
The pack carries several thermometers, and they earn their number. Cells age with heat, the cooling fan is controlled from these readings, and charge and discharge limits move with temperature — cold cells cannot safely accept the current warm ones can. So a failed sensor does not just lose a number; it degrades the pack's management. The module substitutes caution: fan behaviour changes, and charging may be held back.
The quiet failure is the one worth naming. A sensor lying cold keeps the fan asleep while the pack runs warm — undetected heat, the exact thing that ages packs early (P0A7E's argument, arriving through the instrumentation). A sensor lying hot runs the fan flat out, which is at least audible.
Diagnosis order is the block's standard: wiring and connectors outside the pack first, because the sensors themselves live inside it, where replacement means pack-opening work.
