If either battery has been replaced, ask two questions: was it the correct type, and was it registered to the car? Modern vehicles need a new battery coding to the module — one fitted without that is managed to the wrong profile and produces exactly this fault with sound hardware.
Note that this vehicle has two batteries. The smaller support battery is easy to overlook and is often the one at fault; make sure whoever looks at it knows both are there.
Ask for the battery to be load tested rather than voltage tested. A battery can show a healthy voltage and still fail under load.
Expect stop-start to switch itself off. That is the system protecting you from a failed restart rather than an additional fault.

A second twelve-volt battery is now common and exists for a specific job, which shapes the whole diagnosis. Stop-start vehicles fit a small support battery that carries the electronics through a restart, so lights and displays do not dip every time the engine cuts. Some mild hybrids and premium cars use a dual arrangement where one battery starts the engine and the other runs everything else.
State of charge is not a voltage measurement, which is the key point. The module tracks charge in and out over time, corrected for temperature and the battery's known characteristics — so this code says the accounting no longer adds up. The battery is accepting less than it should, or losing it faster.
Which makes registration a genuine cause rather than a formality. A replacement battery must usually be coded to the module — its type, capacity and age. One fitted without that step is managed against the old battery's profile, so the module's expectations and the battery's behaviour diverge, and this code follows with entirely sound hardware.
Ask whether either battery was replaced recently, and whether it was registered. It is the commonest cause and it costs nothing but a diagnostic session.
The wrong type is the other frequent cause. Support batteries are usually AGM, and fitting a conventional one degrades it quickly under stop-start duty.
