Acura NSX
Two supercars separated by two decades and sharing only a name. The 1990 NSX is a naturally aspirated mid-engined V6 in an all-aluminium monocoque — the first of its kind — with Honda's VTEC and, on early cars, a titanium connecting rod. The 2016 NSX is a twin-turbo V6 with three electric motors: one in the gearbox and two driving the front wheels independently, which means front-axle torque vectoring is electric and there is no propshaft. A driveline fault on the second is a motor and inverter question.
