Audi TT
The two-seat coupé and roadster, and a Golf underneath in every generation — PQ34, PQ35 and then MQB, so the Golf and A3 of the same year carry its powertrain information. The 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder in the TT RS is the one engine here with no Golf equivalent, and its firing order and turbocharger arrangement make its boost and knock behaviour genuinely its own. The 8N's Haldex coupling and its service interval are the standing four-wheel-drive item across all three.
