Cadillac ELR
A series plug-in hybrid on the Chevrolet Volt's Voltec powertrain, and the distinction matters more here than the badge does: the 1.4 petrol engine is a generator that only rarely drives the wheels, so idle quality, fuel trim and misfire faults present differently from a conventional car and the engine may be entirely idle during the fault the driver is describing. High-voltage isolation, the coolant loops for the pack and the power electronics, and the pack's own contactors are where its real faults live. Around 3,000 were built, so parts are Volt parts wherever they can be.
