Ford Transit Connect

The small van, and despite the name it has nothing mechanically to do with the full-size Transit — it is built on Ford's C-segment car platform, front-driven, with car engines and car electronics, where the Transit is a much heavier vehicle of its own. Searching the wrong one wastes a great deal of time. The passenger version is the Tourneo Connect in Europe. The 1.6 and later 1.5 TDCi diesels are the engines most of these carry outside North America, and their particulate filters and EGR coolers generate most of the codes; the North American cars are petrol and share their engines with the Focus.
