Suzuki Swift

Suzuki's global supermini, and a car built to a deliberately low module count — which is its diagnostic virtue. Few control units and conventional injection mean a stored code usually points at the thing it names, with far less of the cross-talk that makes a fault on a heavily networked car ambiguous.

    The Cultus-derived cars, sold under a dozen badges worldwide including the Geo and Chevrolet Metro — those names are the better parts search. **Not the Cultus Crescent**, which is the larger car sold as the Baleno and Esteem: its 1.8 J18A and 1.9 XUD9 turbodiesel were never offered here, and searching for them lands on the wrong vehicle.
