Toyota Avalon
The large saloon above the Camry, and mechanically it is a Camry for almost every purpose — the same 1MZ and 2GR V6 families, the same transverse front-drive layout, the same hybrid system in the later cars. That is the useful fact, because far more has been written about the Camry and nearly all of it applies. What the Avalon adds is length and equipment rather than engineering, so a fault that is not body, trim or air-conditioning is very likely documented under the Camry of the same years. The 2GR-FE oil line that generates most of the mid-life V6 complaints is common to both.
