Toyota Paseo
The small coupé built on the Tercel's floor, sold as the Cynos in Japan, and mechanically a Tercel in every respect that matters — the same L50 underpinnings, the same 5E-FE, the same gearboxes. So this page and the Tercel's describe one set of mechanicals under two bodies, and information written for either applies to the other. That is worth knowing because neither name has much written under it on its own. What the Paseo adds is a lower roof and, late in the run, a convertible with its own frame and roof hardware.
