Nissan Leaf
The first mass-market battery electric, and still one of the most numerous — so it is the electric car most likely to be old enough for battery degradation to be the actual complaint. Two facts shape its diagnosis and both are unusual. The first-generation pack is passively cooled, with no thermal management circuit at all, which is why hot-climate cars degrade faster and why there is no coolant loop to fault. And it uses CHAdeMO rather than CCS for rapid charging, so a charging complaint may be an infrastructure question rather than a vehicle one.
