Low hydraulic pressure in the clutch actuator
The apply pressure behind an automated clutch's piston, arriving too low or too late to work the clutch as commanded. The clutch is innocent until this is ruled out — plates cannot bite without pressure behind them, so slip, flare, late engagement and stuck-disengaged codes all begin here rather than at the friction material.
The usual thieves are a tired pump or accumulator, a leaking piston seal, and fluid past its best — each a fraction of the cost of the clutch it imitates. Measure the delivered pressure on a scan tool where the design exposes it; guessing buys clutches.
