What this code means
The oil temperature reading is electrically valid but implausible — it may fail to rise as the engine warms, or disagree with coolant temperature by more than the module allows. Genuine causes exist beyond the sensor: a failed oil cooler or a thermostat problem can produce oil that really is at the wrong temperature.
