P0554: Power Steering Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Intermittent
What to do
Driveable. Note whether the idle dip when manoeuvring happens only when the engine is hot.
What this code means
The power steering pressure signal drops out intermittently. The sensor threads into a high-pressure line in a hot part of the engine bay, so heat cycling on its connector is the usual mechanism — and the resulting idle dip when parking will come and go with it.
