P0629: Fuel Pump A Control Circuit High
What to do
May crank and not start, or may cut out while driving. Note whether it fails when hot or after a period of running — an intermittent pattern points at a connection rather than the pump itself.
What this code means
The fuel pump control circuit is reading high — an open, or a control wire on a supply voltage. As with the open-circuit fault, the practical consequence is usually no fuel delivery and a no-start.
A pump that runs briefly and then stops, or that cuts out once warm, points at a marginal connection rather than a hard failure, and that pattern is worth reporting because it changes where to look.
